Kyle + Ceci Frost

Two skill sets. One very personal space.

He is a civil engineer. She is a photographer, author and therapist. Coastal is what happened when they built a business both could shape.

Why Coastal exists

Independence is good. Isolation isn’t.

They knew the home-office wall and the crowded-coffee-shop problem personally.

Freelancers, remote workers and self-employed people choose independence for a reason. But a goldfish does not brainstorm, the laundry keeps interrupting, and a cafe eventually needs the table back. Kyle and Ceci created Coastal as a place to be productive without working alone.

The result is part workspace, part community room, and part proof that a local business can make a positive difference one ordinary workday at a time.

A founder story with a few miles in it.

2013

Surfers Knoll

Kyle and Ceci married on the Ventura shore—the city they would eventually choose for their business.

Then

Oklahoma + the road

They lived in Oklahoma and traveled the country in a vintage trailer before returning to Ventura.

Coastal opens

A former retail store on Thompson Boulevard became a light-filled workspace and community hub.

Now

Three ways to gather

Coworking, venue rentals and a shared therapy office all use the same thoughtfully made space.

The people behind the details

Kyle builds the room. Ceci shapes how it feels.

Kyle Frost

Civil engineer + builder

Kyle was born and raised in Oklahoma and is a Professional Civil Engineer. He probably built what you are sitting on—including the custom phone booths members keep mentioning.

Ceci Frost

Photographer + author + AMFT

Ceci grew up in Southern California. Her photography gives Coastal its visual eye, and her work as an AMFT brings real clinical understanding to the shared therapy office.

Four values, kept practical

What Coastal wants to add to the day.

01

Positive difference

Make the ordinary workday better for the people who walk in.

02

Community

Independent does not have to mean disconnected.

03

Healthy life

Work matters, and so does the life around it.

04

Enjoy it

Build a business and a room people actually like spending time in.

Come say hello

The story makes more sense inside the room.
